Our Decorative Mat is made of a heat-resistant non-woven fabric and is mostly used by our customers for decorative purposes.
- For the standard version, it can be put on top of another doormat/rug to keep it fixed.
- For the premium version whose material is weather-resistant, it can hold up well to heavy foot traffic and exposure to the elements. When placing the mat outside, it is important to choose a location that is sheltered from direct sunlight and protected from heavy rain or snow. This will help to prolong the life of the mat and prevent it from becoming discolored or damaged.
If you doormat becomes dirty after a while, here are some quick and easy tips for you:
1. Shake or beat loose dirt out of doormats weekly: Shake out the doormat when you sweep your porch or after your lawn is mowed. A good shaking will remove a lot of dust and dirt that otherwise might be tracked into your home. You can also help dislodge dirt ground in the mat by smacking the mat against an outside surface such as the sidewalk.
2. Vacuum the mat to remove any remaining dust: After shaking, you can quickly vacuum the doormat to make sure all the dirt gets out.
3. While washing, avoid using strong detergents or coir matting: If your doormat starts to develop an unpleasant odor, you can also use baking soda to eliminate the smell. Simply sprinkle some baking soda over the mat, let it sit for 10 minutes, then use a scrub brush to work it in. Allow the baking soda to sit for another 5 minutes before vacuuming it up. This will help refresh and deodorize the mat without compromising its quality.
4. Make sure the doormats are completely dry before putting them back into place: Sweep or clean the area where the doormat usually sits before returning it to prevent future dust from making its way onto the mat
